The headboard, sides and footboard are foam padded for both comfort and styling. The headboard is slightly wider than main bedframe to give a more contemporary design. The mattress support system is made of wooden sprung slats which fit neatly into the metal frame. Supplied with a woven base which fits with velcro on the base of the bed.
