Whenever possible, I deliver and install the beds myself to ensure a smooth service from beginning to end. In the event that I cannot deliver, I use a trained, reliable courier and installation service. While my beds may not be the cheapest on the market, I can vouch for their quality. If I supplied cheaper beds then Id be compromising on quality which is not my aim, my aim is to offer a service second to none. Its important to know where your bed comes from so you can research for yourself if required. Should You be FREE from VAT? The different types of mattress can be confusing, what’s the best type for you? Below is a guide to the different types of mattress and what is suitable for your needs. A pocket sprung mattress contains lots of springs that are individually wrapped in fabric pockets. This means that each spring will take the weight of your body providing good support. A memory foam mattress, also known as memory mattress, is topped with layer of temperature sensitive viscoelastic material (memory foam). This type of mattress reacts to temperature so moulds to your body shape each night. This means they can be a good for relieving pressure on painful joints but some may find it hard to turn. Memory foam mattresses can be cold and hard when you first get into them but they do stay warm throughout the night. This can be useful in the winter but in summer, if you tend to get too hot, may be a problem. Memory foam mattresses generally can’t be turned over. Foam or Latex Mattress. Foam or Latex mattresses tend to be durable and breathable. They can therefore be a good choice if you’re allergic to house dust mites. How to Make a Claim. 2.2 For electrical manufacturing faults within 5 years, Furmanac will provide replacement parts to the retailer in order to be able to repair the bed. 2.3 For other manufacturing faults within 5 years, we will discuss with the retailer whether a repair by a Furmanac technician or replacement will be offered. Whether your Furmanac bed is repaired or replaced will be at our sole discretion. 2.4 In the unlikely event you need to report a fault, a technician will be sent to assess the bed. 3.2 We reserve the right to refuse to replace or repair your Furmanac bed. 3.2.1 Where the defect is due to causes other than faulty materials or workmanship. 3.2.2 If it soiled or in an unsanitary condition. 3.2.3 Where the defect is due to a non Furmanac product being used in conjunction with a MiBed product. 3.2.4 Where the defect has occurred if the bed has been operated whilst sitting on side (twisted bars). 3.2.5 Where the recommended weight limit of 120kg has not been adhered to for a standard frame or where the recommended weight of 160kg has not been adhered to for a reinforced frame. 3.3 This guarantee excludes accessories such as, but it is not limited to, Headboards and Massage systems. 3.4 This guarantee does not include fabric faults. 3.6 This Guarantee is inly applicable to UK mainland retailers. Turn your mattress over completely every two weeks for the first 3 months, then side and head to toe, then every other month thereafter. With no-turn mattresses, rotate head to toe. Air your bed thoroughly once a month by stripping the bedclothes and leaving for a few hours. Check regularly that fixings are tight, they may work themselves loose over time. Use a mattress protector to prolong the life of your bed. Don’t sit on the edge of your mattress. They are designed to have weight spread over the whole area. Don’t bend or roll your mattress, this can cause damage to the spring unit and tear the material. Don’t overload or over-fill storage drawers. Mattress covers are dry clean only. Don’t walk or jump on your bed and please don’t let children use it as a trampoline!
