The sprung wooden slats supplied with most of our beds must always be fitted correctly to ensure stability of the bed & to ensure the optimum sleeping position. Wooden slats need to be placed with the top of the arch facing upwards. My bed is going onto a wooden or laminate floor & is likely to slide, what do you recommend? Our beds generally have wooden, plastic or metal legs. When placed on hard flooring beds do have a tendency to slide. We strongly recommend purchasing anti-slip rubber pads & attaching them or sticking them to the underside of the legs to help prevent this. These pads are readily available online & are inexpensive. I would like my order delivering to a different address, how do I do this? I have my order but there seems to be a box missing, what do I do? This has been in our spare room on the off chance our parents spend the night when they come over, that’s happened five times at most so this is as good as new. All in perfect condition including the mattress however, I will say two things about that Ikea mattress!! One, it’s firm, and I mean really firm – I was told you have a better nights sleep on a cold floor and two, 2 days after we picked it up, before anyone had even sat on the thing, my other half laid a bottle of Argan oil hair conditioner on it and the lid came off making a huge mark (as you can imagine some choice words were used by me). I had it cleaned and any visible marks have been removed, however should you take the foam cover off (which I never have), i’m sure there would be a mark in the foam, it is a giant sponge after all.
